Prayer Is The Answer

Prayer is the answer to every problem in life.

It puts us in tune with Divine wisdom

which knows how to adjust everything perfectly.

So often we do not pray in certain situations,

because from our standpoint the outlook is hopeless.

But nothing is impossible with God.

Nothing is so entangled that it cannot be remedied:

No human relationship is too strained

for God to bring about reconciliation and understanding:

No habit so deep rooted that it cannot be overcome:

No one is so weak that he cannot be strong:

No one is so ill that he cannot be healed:

No mind is so dull that it cannot be made brilliant.

Whatever we need, if we trust God, He will supply it.

If anything is causing worry or anxiety,

Let us stop rehearsing the difficulty

and trust God for healing, love, and power.

A Prayer for Healing

Dear Lord, You are the Just Judge, Holy and True.

You are the Most High God. You give us life.

You hold all power in your hands.

You are the Mighty One from God who carries the world,

and is ruler over all the earth.

You, Oh Most Blessed One, are the Giver of life.

All good things come from You. In You is mercy and love.

In You is healing of the nations, and the healing of life itself.

In You is freedom of worry and freedom of pain.

Lord Almighty, You love us so much.

You are full of mercy and grace.

In you all healing is performed.

You are the Miracle Worker.

In Your Spirit, your gift of healing is alive.

In You we can put our trust that You can heal us.

You are the miracle worker for the sick.

Your hands created the universe.

You, O' Lord, are the True Giver of Life.

Life rests in Your Hands.

Wrap us closely and draw us near to you,

bind us with your Loving Hands.

You carry all knowledge and all power.

You Lord are our medicine.

Your Words are Truth and Life. Help us put our trust in You.

You, O' Lord are the greatest physician.

You heal, You protect, You care, You love, You are kind, You are patient,

You are thoughtful, You are strength.

You, O' Lord are our Creator.

You know our thoughts, our sighing and our crying

 and every hair on our head.

You are Wonderful and You make all good things for us.

Heal us Lord, according to your perfect will, and bring us comfort and peace during this very trying time.

 Amen -

Praying for Others

If you have reached this page, and are inclined to pray for others, people you probably don't know, even perfect strangers,

and you have a heart to pray, we want you to know we are grateful for your prayers,

and we want to say Thank you so much for your willingness to pray.

It is my hope to share the results of our prayers as I hear of them.

It is also my hope that as you see how your prayers have been answered, your faith in God and in prayer will become stronger,

and that you will be encouraged in what God can do for you, and for others through your intercessory prayers!

In our intercessory prayers for others let our prayers be of simple eloquence with earnestness and sincerity,

that those prayers might be registered in the books of heaven as fit words, which are like ‘apples of gold, in pictures of silver.’

Our gracious heavenly Father will make our prayers a healing flood of heavenly influence, awakening in the heart convictions and desires.

Our precious Jesus will add His intercession to our prayers, and will claim for the prayed one the gift of the Holy Spirit, and will pour it upon that soul.

And there will be joy in the presence of the angels of God.

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

for kings and all who are in authority,

that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

Our Prayer Requests this week are for:

1)Those who have lost their spouses, and are feeling the pangs of loneliness and sorrow.

2)Those who are dealing with ill health and sundry diseases.

3)Those who are losing hold on reality.

4)Those who are shut-in and in places of confinement and need encouragement.

5)Our leadership and our country.

And in all things give thanks, and praise Him for all His answers to our prayers.

Please Pray for Us,

& Pray for Someone you Love

I Asked the Lord

I asked the Lord, that I might grow in faith, and love, and every grace;
Might more of His salvation know, and seek more earnestly His face.

T'was He who taught me thus to pray and He I trust has answered prayer,
but it has been in such a way it almost drove me to despair.

I hoped that in some favored hour at once He'd answer my request,
and by His love's constraining power subdue my sins, and give me rest.

Instead of this, He made me feel the hidden evils of my heart;
And let the angry powers of hell assault my soul in every part.

Yea more, with His own hand He seemed intent to aggravate my woe;
Crossed all the fair designs I schemed, blasted my gourds, and laid me low.

'Lord, why is this?' I trembling cried, 'Wilt thou pursue Thy worm to death?'
'Thus in this way,' the Lord replied, 'I answer prayer for grace and faith.

These inward trials I employ from self and pride to set thee free;
And break thy schemes of earthly joy, that thou mayst seek thy all in Me.'

That Old Rugged Cross of Calvary

Lord, on that old rugged cross of Calvary
You shed your blood and suffered agony.
You were mocked, scorned and spat upon,
By those who denied you were God's own Son;

But the Father had a purpose, it's plain to see -
You arose from the tomb with great victory.
You conquered death, hell and the grave,
For a sinner's soul such as mine to save.

Then one day you called to me
To take up my cross and follow Thee.
That glorious day you cleansed my heart -
A brand new life you did impart.

I thank you, Lord, for redeeming me;
And if I had but one prayer, that prayer would be...
"Lord, keep me ever yielded to Thee".

St. Francis Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in self-forgetting that we find;
And it is in dying to ourselves that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

Prayer of Praise

Abba, Father, you are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

You are my Creator and my Counselor, guiding me daily to make wise decisions.

You are my Comforter in sorrow, pain, or distress.

I praise you for drawing near to me when I draw near to you.

You are El Roi - the God who sees me, and you are Eternal, Lord.

You are my heavenly Father, and the father of the fatherless.

How great are you and your faithfulness, God, day in and day out.

You are holy, yet you made a way for me to approach you.

I praise you for being my Helper, and for your Holy Spirit's conviction, correction, and protection in my life.

You are invisible, but I see you with eyes of faith.

You are Jehovah God, and Jehovah Jireh,

the One who provides for all my needs.

I praise you as my Jehovah Rapha, my God who heals,

and for being Jehovah Rah, My faithful Shepherd.

You are not just King, but you are King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

And yes, you are Jesus, the name above all names.

With my whole heart I praise you, God.

You are Messiah, the soon and coming King.

You are omniscient; you know all things.

You are omnipresent; everywhere at all times.

You are my Peace, my Protector,

and the High Priest who became my Redeemer and Sacrifice forever.

You died to set me free; you rose again and gave me victory over death.

No longer am I enslaved in sin; you are my Salvation,

my Rescuer and my Refuge.

You give me hope within.
